A dog-friendly treehouse in the Devon woods
Your dog is welcome at Cove Valley. Chatan, our treehouse, is open to one well-behaved dog, and Ukai will follow soon.
Chatan sits high in the woods with a fully enclosed balcony, so your dog can lie out in the sun with you without wandering off. Inside, there's a wood burner to dry off in front of after a muddy walk, and a towel by the door for paws.
We'll leave a bowl, a blanket for the sofa, poo bags and a little treat ready for when you arrive. Just bring their bed, lead and food.
Why Chatan works for dogs
Walks from the door
You're on the edge of Exmoor, so there's no shortage of places to explore together. The valley itself has paths through woodland and meadow, and the moor is a short drive away. Please keep dogs on a lead while you're here, as we share the land with Longhorn cattle, Iron Age pigs, red deer, beavers and ground-nesting birds.
