We are pleased to be able to welcome families to Cove Valley in a limited and considered way. Due to the nature of our cabins, the free roaming animals and the rewilded landscape, we ask that all guests staying with children carefully read and agree to the following terms and conditions prior to their stay.

Occupancy Guidelines

  • A maximum of one child per stay is permitted due to space and safety considerations.

Cabin Care & Responsibility

  • Our cabins are furnished with bespoke, delicate, and handcrafted furniture and interiors that are expensive and difficult to replace.

  • The cabins are not child-proofed.

  • Parents/guardians must take extra care to ensure children treat the space with respect.

  • Any damage caused by children must be paid for in full.

Supervision & Safety

  • Parents/guardians take full responsibility for their child at all times during their stay.

  • Children must be supervised at all times, especially:

    • Inside cabins

    • On balconies

    • Around uneven ground and outdoor areas

  • Cove Valley cannot accept responsibility for accidents or injuries resulting from insufficient supervision.

Around the Site & Other Guests

  • Children must be supervised when walking around the site.

  • Please respect the privacy and peaceful experience of other guests by:

  • Keeping a respectful distance from other cabins

  • Keeping noise levels to a minimum

Animals & Wildlife

  • Children must be supervised at all times around animals.

  • Please do not enter the animal enclosure with food, or attempt to feed any of the animals. We do not want our animals to associate people with food as this could cause them to be unpredictable.

  • Animals should be respected and not approached too closely.

  • Deer should never be approached closely.

  • Our Iron Age pigs are generally calm but should be approached with calm, respectful behaviour. We currently have boar with young so ask that they are given extra space and do not attempt to touch them as their behaviour can be more unpredictable during this time.

  • Cove Valley cannot be held responsible for any incidents involving animals.

Additional Charges

  • A supplementary charge applies for children:

    • £35 for a baby (under 1 year) – includes cot and bedding.

    • £50 for a child (1+ years) – contributes towards additional wear, cleaning, and facilities

By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and accept full responsibility for your child during your stay.
